About

Listen, act, and transform while having FUN!

A Mission to Help the Neurodiverse Generation Find Their True North The heart of our mission rests in the understanding that every person has the innate potential to navigate life with self-trust, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose. We work to develop practical skill-building trainings based in positive, strengths-focused models that stand together in stark contrast to conventional and often limiting methods of neurodiversity support. True North is leading the movement towards a more inclusive, compassionate, and enlightened approach to the diversity of the human mind, developing practical programs designed to meet the needs of a diverse population with a wide range of differing perspectives as we meet in a safe, central space of basic of shared human goodness where there is room for everyone. Private sessions, online classes, and live trainings offer much-needed support to individuals, families, clinicians, and organizations, while regular drop-in groups support the ongoing practice of building new skills. With a foundation built on deep neurological research and a vision guided by the principles of respect, compassion, and self-responsibility, True North Neurodiversity Center is committed to helping more people create beautiful lives worth living, and is leading the way in transforming how society supports and uplifts its neurodiverse members. True North is a community-supported educational model currently led by BJ Heugly, LCSW under the direction an advisory board.
